High Point Furniture Market: Day 2

In a world where everything is starting to look the same, it is nice to find things that are inspiring and different.  Pieces that make you stop, look, and sit down.

We loved the lines of this chair.  Use it in a living room or pull it up to a table or desk.  We also loved the price...$795!

Antique flush mounts from an old restaurant in Paris....

Tribal pieces are very in right now....these shell necklaces on iron stands make a STATEMENT.

This cocktail table and side kick were show stoppers.  We adore the pink and love the idea of possibly putting wallpaper on top of the pink to instantly change the look.  They are also a steal: Side Table- $798 and cocktail table $995.

Palecek never disappoints.  This chair is just perfection.  It is so beautiful I would almost say it is a piece of art....

Loved these black wooden trays- they are sleek and organic all at the same time.

We were blown away by the Verellen showroom....we have always loved it but there was something about it this year- just clean, simple and cool.  Modern, sophisticated and timeless all rolled into one with the most wonderful wool boucles and soft leathers...could have stayed all day.

High Point Furniture Market Fall 2015 Recap

We had an amazing time at High Point Furniture Market this past weekend.

Loved seeing all the new introductions, connecting with old friends and meeting new ones!

Day 1 - On my way trying to not get makeup on my white blouse...

Super Cool Vintage Airport Sectional...Your entire family could live on this.

Obsessed with these laser cut butterflies...Would be AMAZING anywhere!

Dunes and Duchess Does it Again with their Fabulous Flair!  Their booth was one of our favorites!

Loved these antique copper barstools that came off of an old ship.  How cool would they be at a pool house bar????

Bobby McAlpine's new line for Elegant Earth- STUNNING!

I love how the universe sends people to you right when you need it the most.  I loved spending time with Sam Simon, Tamara Stephenson and Jonathan Legate - you have reminded me that there are GOOD people on this planet and we are all connected!

Tune in tomorrow for more of our adventure in High Point!

Riveting Renovation

We have called this project our "Dream Team" job.  We worked with the most amazing builder Tony Pitts  and architect John Voight.  Together we took a mid-century rancher that had lost its purpose and redesigned the interior layout to be the ultimate home for entertaining, and connecting the outdoor spaces to the interior spaces giving it the perfect flow.  Our amazing clients took a leap of faith with us when they purchased this home and trusted us to help them bring their vision to life.

Here are some before and after shots….

The Living Room Before

After….

Adding french doors to the living room has made it apart of the beautiful patio...

The Family Room was a huge space that was awkward and didn't make sense.

We took part of the family room and created the perfect wet bar to eliminate wasted space ….

The Breakfast Room is the spot to enjoy the beautiful backyard but not like this...

We now call it " The Lounge "

Stay tuned for more of our "Riveting Renovation" next week!  Thank you to Gordon Gregory  for bringing our work to life in your beautiful photographs.
